Player One Esports Announces PUBG Amateur League! (PAL)
Player One Esports is thrilled to announce Season 1 of our PUBG Amateur League (PAL) Series!
We were inspired by seeing the P1E Pro PUBG Team competing in the NPL this year as well as the amazing unsigned talent from players who competed in our weekly “$1,000 Double Trouble Duo’s Tournaments.” With that inspiration, we’ve created a new forum where talented amateur PUBG players have the opportunity to be scouted and gain the skills to compete in the NPL. We feel that this is a powerful way for us to give back to the PUBG community we love so dearly.
The concept behind the PAL is that it’s designed as a semi-professional PUBG league for players aspiring to play competitive PUBG in the NPL and NPLC. Teams will compete against each other in an environment that is similar in structure to the PUBG pro-leagues. Season One of PAL will consist of three separate stages with a combined total of $10,000 in cash prizes.
Season 1 begins Thursday July 11th, 2019 at 8:00 PM EDT. Thirty-two teams will split into two 16-team lobbies competing on Thursdays and Fridays. All matches of the PAL will be streamed live on the Player One Esports Twitch channel at Twitch.tv/PlayerOneEsports.
