Player One Joins LoL Scouting Grounds Circuit
Player One Esports is now officially a part of the League of Legends Scouting Grounds Circuit. This is a fresh, inclusive circuit that reroutes the path to qualify for the 2019 Scouting Grounds finals!
The Scouting Grounds Circuit was created by FACEIT and Riot Games to provide a platform for North American Amateur teams to train, showcase skills, and clear a path to pro. The total prize pool for the Season One Scouting Grounds Circuit will be a massive $60,000. Season One starts in July and continues until September.
Player One Esports has a rich history with North American Amateur League of Legends. We first set foot into the world of amateur last year at Indy PopCon by throwing the Inaugural League of Legends tournament with a prize pool of $25,000. In total, Player One has given away $40,000 in League of Legends tournaments winnings, with multiple broadcasts on Twitch each week and thousands of hours watched. Player One Esports caught the attention of FACEIT and Riot Games, who then reached out to Player One and pitched us a spot on the Scouting Grounds for the 2019 season.
