Player One: Paving the Path for Esports Amateurs to Go Pro
“Don’t let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning.” — Robert Kiyosaki
The feverish thrill of amateur esports has taken a firm hold on the gamers and gaming entrepreneurs of Indiana, and Player One is positioned at the forefront of this new wave of competitive esports. Player One is hard at work paving the path for amateur players to step into the realm of professional athletes. We have hosted tournaments all over the spectrum, from casual $250 Rocket League 2v2 competitions to $10,000 League of Legends invite-only tourneys. We opened up the doors to our tournaments nationally to give players a chance to give it all they’ve got and to help fuel their passion to go pro.
Our PUBG Amateur League is the grass roots of amateur PUBG esports and great way to be noticed by pro organizations. PAL is the beginning of a clear path for PUBG competitors:
Step 1:
Player One PUBG Amateur League (PAL)
Step 2:
National PUBG League Contenders (NPLC)
Step 3:
National PUBG League (NPL) and beyond!
Our tournaments have given many talented free agents an opportunity to be seen and signed by many professional esports organizations over the past year. Esports orgs are able to observe these players’ strengths in a competitive PUBG format matching the same structure as the National PUBG League (NPL). Hosting these tournaments at Player One gives everyone in the PUBG community a chance to showcase their talents and see how they match up against some of the best amateur players in North America.
The path to pro is clear, and those of us here at Player One want to share it with everyone. Are you ready to watch the best unsigned PUBG talent in the nation? Tune in to the PUBG Amateur League Stage II every Thursday and Friday at 8 PM EDT. You can watch all the action LIVE at Twitch.tv/PlayerOneEsports. Want to get involved? Stay tuned on P1E.GG for upcoming announcements regarding PAL and future tournaments!
